Are you thinking about sponsoring a family for Christmas?

As we approach the holiday season, it's time to think about how we can support those in our community who may need assistance during this time. Scott's Run Settlement House will again run our Thanksgiving and Christmas Programs to provide help. Below you will find a sign-up forms for both programs should you be willing to be a sponsor.

Last year, we saw a significant increase in our Christmas program, the number of individuals we assisted rose from 100 to over 1,000. We anticipate that many individuals and families will again need our help this year. We cannot run these programs without the support of generous sponsors like you! If you know anyone else who may be interested in sponsoring this program, please forward them this email or share the attached documents.

Your support will help us continue to have a significant impact in our community, especially as the need has continued to grow every year

A few notes for the Christmas Program:

Families will create a wish list of gifts they would like and their essential needs, such as clothing or
hygiene items. You can then review this list and decide what you would like to purchase. It is not
mandatory to buy everything on the list.
On the sponsor form, please indicate the number of families you would like to sponsor or the number of children you would like to sponsor, so we can make the best match for you. If you have any other specific requests, please include them as well.
You can also sponsor this program by providing gifts, and we will match them with families who are not sponsored. You can also make a monetary donation, and we will take care of the shopping!
All donated Christmas items should be dropped off at Scott’s Run between December 2nd and December 16th. Items will be distributed as they arrive.
Please return the attached sponsorship forms as soon as possible so we know how many families we can help this year.

Additional Seasonal Programs

Each year we hold special seasonal programs throughout the year. These are include Easter treat baskets, Back-to-School supplies, Thanksgiving food baskets and Christmas gifts. To receive support through these programs, you will need to complete an application. Applications will open closer to each program time, so please watch for announcements on our Social Media channels or reach out to us for more information!
